Born as a spin-off of Dubai’s Gitex North Star, Gitex Africa received significant international attention in 2023, prompting the Emirati organizers and Moroccan institutions to immediately plan subsequent editions.
With a focus on Big Data, cybersecurity, smart manufacturing, Agritech, Fintech, telecommunications/network infrastructure, smart cities, digital health, start-ups, and artificial intelligence, Gitex Africa was conceived as an ideal networking venue, featuring numerous spaces dedicated to conferences and themed business meetings.
The second edition was held in Marrakech from May 29 to 31, 2024.
Participation in the fair was promoted by the Agenzia ICE – Istituto Commercio Estero (ITA – Italian Trade Agency) which has been supporting the promotion and internationalization of Italian companies abroad for years.

The Certiflight platform offers a digital service for generating certified reports of flight tracks and flight logs of UAS and GA aircraft.
The core of the system is a digital IoT device, designed by TopView, that can be installed on UAS and general aviation aircraft.
The device is equipped with a satellite receiver enabled for the Galileo OSNMA service, designed to ensure the authenticity of position information at the source, mitigating spoofing and jamming phenomena.
The tracking information is encrypted and transmitted to the Certiflight platform, where it is stored permanently and immutably using blockchain technology.
