our role
TopView, as a partner of the project, contributed to the development of the DIGIMEDFOR Data Traceability Platform System, a digital ecosystem designed to collect, integrate, and verify information generated throughout the entire wood supply chain, from forest resources to final products.
TopView's main contribution focused on the development of solutions for the certification of drone-based field operations.
To support this objective, the company developed the Traceability Box, an innovative device capable of securely recording and certifying the location and timing of drone missions using the authenticated Galileo OSNMA signal. This technology provided reliable and objective evidence of forestry activities while ensuring data integrity and transparency.
The Traceability Box was fully integrated into the DIGIMEDFOR platform, where certified flight records were combined with other traceability data generated throughout the supply chain. The system worked alongside RFID-based identification technologies, field data collection tools, and blockchain-enabled storage solutions to create a comprehensive and trustworthy traceability framework. By leveraging its expertise in geospatial technologies, unmanned aerial systems, and data certification, TopView helped strengthen the reliability, transparency, and accountability of forest management processes.
Through DIGIMEDFOR, the company contributed to the development of innovative digital tools that supported sustainable forestry practices and promoted trust across the entire wood value chain.
